The morning was spent at Taronga Zoo: kangaroos, koalas, a Tasmanian devil and, rarest of all, a platypus.
At St. Stephen's Church, Salmon Cupid led a workshop with a 70-member school band from Perth, telling the story of the steelpan from industrial oil drums to concert halls. The two groups played Amazing Grace together.
