Project Harmony · Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra
Give young musicians a home.
For 25 years, TASSO has shaped young lives through steelpan. Now we're building a permanent place to rehearse, perform and welcome more kids in.
The problem
An award-winning orchestra without a home.
TASSO has won Gold at the Sydney Opera House and played for millions on parade routes. But a steel orchestra needs room: for pans, for rehearsal, for an audience. Today the orchestra rehearses every Friday in borrowed space, packing up every pan at the end of the night.
The solution
Project Harmony.
A permanent home and rehearsal space. North America's first panyard for outdoor performances. And more outreach, so more Toronto kids can pick up the sticks.
