After exploring Marseille and a beach lunch, we swam in the Mediterranean. That evening we played an hour and a half in Sanary-sur-Mer, waves just beyond the stage, for a warm audience whose energy matched ours. Back at the hotel we celebrated band manager Anna's birthday, and three more at midnight.
