On May 30, 2012, the Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra (TASSO) was honoured to perform as part of the celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the Grey Cup, one of Canada's most iconic sporting traditions.
The performance took place at historic Rosedale Park in Toronto, the very site where the first Grey Cup championship game was played in 1909, so TASSO's young musicians performed on the same grounds where Canadian football history began.
It was a proud moment to bring the vibrant sounds of steelpan to an event commemorating a century of Canadian football history.
