Hi, my name is Ben and I am 16 years old. I have been playing with TASSO since grade 4, but I’ve been playing with Mr. Cupid since kindergarten, almost my whole life! I go to St. Michael’s College school and I am currently in grade 11. Including steel pan, I like to play many other instruments such as piano, guitar, French horn, and trumpet. I also like to play sports at school and am on teams such as varsity cross country, alpine skiing, and track and field. Outside of school, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching sports, and doing extracurriculars like hockey. Through TASSO, I’ve had many amazing experiences like no other. Going to Australia and playing in the infamous Sydney Opera house was unforgettable and winning the competition made it even sweeter! I will also forever remember playing in the Toronto Raptors championship parade, which we can hopefully get to be in again when the Raptors win this year. I look forward to continuing TASSO as long as I can and going on many more trips with my TASSO family.
