Hi, my name is Irene, I am 20 years old, I’ve been playing Steelpan since kindergarten and a part of TASSO for 9 years. I am in my third year at the University of Toronto and as you can imagine, I’m always swamped with work. Whenever I can sleep, I sleep and that’s not an exaggeration. Things come and go but Steelpan has always stuck and I’m glad it has. I’ve been on three band trips and I’m excited for the next one that will hopefully happen very soon. My experience with the band has been nothing but spectacular and I am so grateful to be a member.
